Painting Ceramic Birthday Gifts (Dec. 17/07)

On Dec. 17 Becky, Amaya and I went to Brushfire (near Corydon and Kenaston in Winnipeg) to paint some ceramic mugs for birthday gifts for Grandma Wood and Grandmama Read, both of whom have Dec. birthdays (15 and 27), and both of whom are celebrating their 29th birthdays this year. :-) It was challenging getting Amaya to let us hold her painting hand against each mug but she did - not being quite sure of what was going on. With Daddy sheepishly asking Mommy if he could get one too - for Christmas, Amaya and Daddy then spent time together for the next while Mommy painting the three mugs.
