To Wahpeton, North Dakota for the 1st Time (Oct. 28/07)

On Oct. 27 we headed to Fargo, North Dakota for Amaya's first visit to the U.S.. We shopped at the West Acres Mall, stayed overnight, and then on Sunday morning (Oct. 28) we drove farther south to Wahpeton to Harvest Outreach Church. Lisa Cook, from Harvest, is leading one half of a short term mission to Ghana, Africa July 19-Aug. 2/08. I (Kev) will be leading the other half of the team - 10 performance and visual artists. Lisa had looked forward to an opportunity to meet and hold Amaya.

Here we are with Pastor Sam Dunya of Ghana, who will be coordinating our service in Ghana, and Lisa and Jeff Cook, who both prepared a wonderful luncheon at the church after the service for all those interested in the mission.

As somewhat who performs songs in Sign Language, I thought this sign on the way home was amusing.
