Memories from Aug/07
After two or so great and memorable weeks in Ontario visiting family and friends, it was nice to be heading home on August 4. When checking in our bags at the Toronto airport, the airline staff was kind enough to give me an additional sticker so that we could indeed label our 'precious cargo'.

On August 14, Annie Kemp, a young woman from North Dakota who drove up to Winnipeg every other week to take private musical sign language lessons out of our home studio, came for her final lesson before beginning full-time college study back home towards being an interpreter for the deaf/deafened/hard of hearing. She treasured holding Amaya one more time.

Here is Amaya sleeping in her play yard - sleeping on her front for the first time on Aug. 15!

On Aug. 17 Becky was able to quickly visit Colleen Kramer and new born Sierra! Congratulations Colleen, Dave and Skylar (big sister!)!

Amaya and I spend time together out in the waiting area. With Amaya being only four months old, it was interesting being in the same ward where she was born on May 19.

While I took part in a church leadership meeting for Faith Coveant Church (where I serve on staff as the Director of Creative Arts) in the back yard of Brent and Mary Watchorn on Aug. 18, Becky and Amaya sat by the pool's edge.

Mary enjoyed holding Amaya.

In August it was also nice to have Becky's uncle and aunt from Toronto, Ian and Lois Howes, stop by to visit on Aug. 21 while they were in Winnipeg.
