Great Weekend in Toronto Area

I had a great weekend in the Toronto area - ministering with From Top (left to right: Becky M., Edith L, Amanda C.), and visiting family and friends. I was even able to take in my nephew Joshua's hockey game (photo of Joshua below). Unfortunately, Uncle Kev doesn't seem to bring good luck - his team lost 6-1 - their worse lost yet. The good news is that Josh played hard - a spirited game! After ministering at Sheridan Park Alliance Church in Mississauga on Friday night, From The Top performed at Bridlewood Presbyterian Church on Sunday morning - one of the two churches where Ken Michell (who teachers music and helps to lead worship at Providence Arts Camp in Manitoba each summer) serves as the Director of Worship. We joined Ken for a delicious lunch at an Indi-Chinese restaurant, and then went to St. Andrew's Fish & Chips since Ken highly recommended their deep-fried ice cream. Unfortunately, they were closed (photo of Ken and I in front of St. Andrew's below).

I also got to visit Paul and Perl Wismer (Paul has been a friend for many years and Perl used to be a From The Top troupe member, and, of course, is also a close friend). I got to meet their very cute nine month old adopted girl Elisha, and even hold her as she emptied her bottle.
